1. Bank Connections

Budgefy uses Plaid for bank connections. Budgefy does not ask users to give bank passwords directly to Budgefy when Plaid handles the credential flow.

2. Protection Measures

• Budgefy uses encrypted connections for app traffic.
• Budgefy relies on service providers such as Plaid, Stripe, Clerk, hosting, analytics, support, email, SMS, and AI vendors to operate the service.
• Internal access should be limited to authorized users and business needs.
• Logs and monitoring help diagnose issues, protect the service, and investigate abuse.
• Uploaded documents should be handled as sensitive user content.

3. User Controls

• Users can unlink Plaid connections.
• Users can request deletion or export of data through support.
• Users can manage billing through the in-app Stripe billing flow.

4. Vulnerability Reports

Report security concerns to support@budgefy.app. Please include enough detail for Budgefy to investigate and avoid accessing, changing, or deleting data that is not yours.
